Privacy policy

karajan-calendar. Last updated: 23 September 2026.

karajan-calendar is a private, single-user application. Its only user is its owner, Miguel Cabañas. It is not offered to anyone else.

What data it accesses

With the Google permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly, the application reads calendar entries from the Google account that authorised it: the calendars visible to that account, and for each event its title, start and end time, location, description and number of attendees. It requests no other Google permission. It does not read email, files, contacts or any other Google service.

What it does with that data

Events are read every 15 minutes and written as a plain-text agenda to a private server owned by the user. That agenda is then read by the user's personal AI assistant so it can answer the user's own questions about his schedule.

Where it is stored

On a single private server controlled by the user, readable only by that user's own processes, plus encrypted backups held by the user. The agenda is a snapshot: it is overwritten every 15 minutes and is not a historical archive.

Who it is shared with

The data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with any third party, with one exception that is stated here plainly: when the assistant answers a question, the relevant text of the agenda is sent to the provider of the AI model that generates the answer (Anthropic) purely to produce that answer. No other party receives it.

Retention and deletion

The user can revoke the application's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops all further reads immediately. The stored agenda can be deleted by the user at any time, and is in any case replaced every 15 minutes.

Children

The application is not directed at children and has no users other than its owner.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated text will be published at this same address with a new date.
